For property managers, building owners, and insurers, a single undetected leak can cascade into tens of thousands of dollars in remediation costs, tenant displacement, and claims processing. Traditional whole-home systems like Flo by Moen and Phyn require mainline pipe access and licensed plumber installation — making them physically unusable in most multi-unit residential and commercial environments.
aquaHALT installs at the fixture level — toilet, sink, or ice maker — in under 10 minutes, per unit, without a plumber. It is the only battery-operated automatic shutoff system on the market that can be deployed across an entire building without any structural modification.
Competitor Differentiation
aquaHALT is the only battery-operated, fixture-level automatic shutoff that works in apartments and multi-unit buildings — without a plumber, without an electrician, and without cutting a single pipe.

EXCELLENT Based on 72 reviews Posted on Brian CVerified Hard to beat the value for the price. I have to say I was a little wary of how well this would work for our toilet leak BUT it works like a charm. For the cost it's totally worth it for piece of mind when I travel for work or for vacations... The times when I don't need to stress about that. Good product. Recommend.Posted on Melissa T.Verified Peace of mind Had a leak earlier this month and did not want to deal with that kind of mess again. Purchased this just for the peace of mind. Was easy to install and very well made product. I highly recommend this product.Posted on TomboVerified My new helper. Excellent instructions! Follow and you'll be golden. My advice is to try the best angles for the device for hooking up, because these service lines are pretty stiffI emailed a question to the company, asking if it the device had to be vertical. They responded (next day) that No, it can be mounted in any direction. As a caregiver for someone with dementia, devices like this are a godsend.Posted on Paul I.Verified Great product! I've been using this water detection device for my business and it has exceeded my expectations. It's reliable, easy to use, and gives me peace of mind knowing it will detect the leak before it creates a problem. Quality product that I highly recommend!Posted on Chaz MVerified Great addition to any bathroom I picked up an aquaHALT after a coworker recommended it to me. We both live in the city and have had issues with our toilets causing damage before. Fortunately for me the damage was minimal since I was home to shut it off in time. Then it got me thinking what if someone broke into my house and clogged my toilet while I was at work. I really didn’t want the headache of dealing with such a disaster. Now that I have this installed, one less thing I have to worry about. Some thoughts:The packaging and build quality were well thought out.Installation was straight forward, fast and easy. The device is a good size and the attachments were easy to use.Ran a couple of tests and it worked as advertised. Will not stop someone from breaking into your house but will stop them from causing a toilet leak.Posted on JohnYpmaVerified Protection from overflowing toilets My grandkids managed to overflow the toilet at their house. Don't know the specifics but it went on all night creating probably $100K worth of damage. Drywall, carpet, cabinets, doors need to be replaced. They visit and stay with us at times. I purchase this device to prevent that calamity. The installation is as it could be given the position of the valve. Took about 15 minutes to install and it's really barely noticeable.I purchased one. I'm going to purchase another two for all but the master bathroom (which they stay away from). For me, it's no different than a smoke/heat detector or a better lock on the front door. I'm simply not going to quibble with the price are the "probability" of peril. I saw the damage; I don't want the damage.Observation after installing 2 others: The 12” braided line can be a little short. This results in pulling the unit sideways on the wall and the unit releases. I purchased a 20” braided line with 3/8th connections (as it was on the 12”) and it made things a lot easier. I also found that pushing the unit and tape back against the wall has made for good adhesion. They packed an extra, but didn’t need it.JWY
